Three events to share: two recorded online, one up ahead, on my new book, The Uncounted: Politics of Data in Global Health — including an upcoming webinar featuring some activists profiled in the book.

Here’s a video recording of the book launch event with me, Ryan Whitacre and Karl Blanchet discussing it with questions from the audience about privacy, data, ethics in the HIV and COVID-19 pandemics.

Next, I zipped home to New York (virtually) to chat with the brilliant Corinne Carey at Media Sanctuary about the US response to COVID19: you can listen here.

On June 25th at 3pm CEST, I’ll gather (virtually again) with some of the activists whose work is described in the book about the Global Fund Board, indicators, and community-led data – featuring Carolyn Gomes, Alternate Board Member for the Developing Country NGO Delegation to the Global Fund Board; Dr. John Waters (CVC Coalition), who led the epic Caribbean six-country study of key populations described in the book; and Hayden Barthelmy, of GrenCHAP, who participated in the study in Grenada. It’s part of a series on “Challenging realities of aid” organized by Swiss network Medicus Mundi Internationalregister here.
